And thou shalt be as a man sleeping in the midst of the sea, and as a governor asleeped [or sleeping], when the steering, either the instrument of governance, is lost.

And the governor came to him, and said to him, Why art thou cast down in sleep? rise thou, call thy God to help, if peradventure God again-think of us, and we perish not.

Again the second time he went, and prayed, saying, My Father, if this cup may not pass, but I drink it, thy will be done.

And he left them, and went again, and prayed the third time, and said the same word.

And Peter, and they that were with him, were heavy of sleep, [or were grieved, or heavied, with sleep], and they waking saw his majesty, and the two men that stood with him.

And a young man, Eutychus by name, sat on the window, when he was fallen into an heavy sleep, while Paul disputed long, all sleeping he fell down from the third stage; and he was taken up, and was brought dead.

Every soul be subject to higher powers. For there is no power but of God, and those things that be of God, be ordained.
