But to whom shall I guess this generation like? It is like to children sitting in the chapping, that cry to their peers,

But do not ye be called master; for one is your master, and all ye be brethren.

And his disciples asked him, Master, who sinned, this man, or his elders, [or Rabbi, who sinned, this man, or his father and mother], that he should be born blind?
