Or what thing went ye out to see? a man clothed with soft clothes? Lo! they that be clothed with soft clothes be in the houses of kings.

And he willing to slay him, dreaded the people; for they had him as a prophet.

And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest; for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord, to make ready his ways.

and if we say, Of men, all the people shall stone us; for they be certain, that John is a prophet.
