And the child waxed, and was comforted in spirit, and was in desert places unto the day of his showing to Israel.

And the child waxed, and was comforted, full of wisdom; and the grace of God was in him.

And he that in this thing serveth Christ, pleaseth God, and is proved to men.

Forsooth the child Samuel profited, and increased, and pleased both God and men.
