Lord, now thou leavest thy servant after thy word in peace;

Forsooth thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace, and shalt be buried in good [eld] age.

And the father said to Joseph, Now I shall die joyful, for I have seen thy face, and I leave thee living.

Keep thou innocence, and see equity; for those [or they] be relics or remnants to a peaceable man.

And he had taken an answer of the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, but he saw first the Christ of the Lord.
