And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and cast out of the temple all that bought and sold; and he turned upside-down the boards of changers, and the chairs of men that sold culvers.
In that hour Jesus said to the people, As to a thief ye have gone out, with swords and bats [or staves], to take me; day by day I sat among you, and taught in the temple, and ye held me not.
Jesus answered to him, I have spoken openly to the world; I taught evermore in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither all the Jews came together, and in huddles [or in private] I spake nothing.
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, Lo! thou art made whole; now do not thou do sin [or now do not thou sin], lest any worse thing befall to thee.
Therefore Jesus cried in the temple teaching, and said, Ye know me, and ye know of whence I am; and I came not of myself, but he is true that sent me, whom ye know not.
