but to them that be of strife, and that assent not to truth, but believe to wickedness, wrath and indignation,

that all be deemed, [or be damned], which believed not to truth, but consented to wickedness.

and the stone of hurting, and the stone of stumbling, to them that offend to the word, neither believe it, in which they be set.

First know ye this thing, that in the last days deceivers [or scorners] shall come in deceit, going after their own covetings,
