And I would, that God spake with thee, and opened his lips to thee;
Yea, though God slay me, I shall hope in him; nevertheless I shall prove my ways in his sight.
Call thou me, and I shall answer thee; either certainly I shall speak, and thou shalt answer me.
who giveth then an helper to me, that Almighty God hear my desire? that he that deemeth, write a book,
Whether he, that striveth with God, shall have rest so lightly? Soothly he, that reproveth God, oweth for to answer to him.
Wherefore I shall beseech the Lord, and I shall set [or put] my speech to my God.
If he will strive with God, he may not answer to God one for a thousand.

Mountains and the strong foundaments of earth, hear the doom of the Lord; for the doom of the Lord shall be with his people, and he shall be deemed with Israel.
