and sent out a crow, which went out, and turned not again till the waters were dried on [the] earth.
And when forty days had passed, Noah opened the window of the ship which he had made,
Also Noah sent out a culver after him, to see if the waters had ceased then on the face of the earth;
and there thou shalt drink of the strand; and I have commanded to [the] crows, that they feed thee there.
And [the] crows bare to him bread and flesh early; and in like manner in the eventide; and he drank of the strand [or stream].
Who maketh ready for the crow his meat, when his young cry to God, and wander about, for they have not meats?
Which giveth meat to their work beasts; and to the birds of crows calling him.
and all the kind of ravens by his likeness;
