Soothly Rebecca had a brother, Laban by name, which went out hastily to the man, where he was withoutforth.

These be the sons of Leah, which she childed to Jacob in Mesopotamia of Syria, with Dinah, her daughter; all the souls of his sons and daughters by Leah, three and thirty.

Jacob fled into the country of Syria, and Israel served for a wife, and served, either kept sheep for a wife.

But by a prophet the Lord led Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet he was kept.
