These be the commandments, ceremonies, and dooms, which your Lord God commanded that I should teach you, and that ye do them in the land to which ye pass over to wield;

and ye be made followers of us, and of the Lord, receiving the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Ghost;

that in the virtue of God be kept by the faith into health, and is ready to be showed in the last time.

Therefore love we God, for he loved us before [or he former loved us].

He shall keep the feet of his saints, and wicked men shall be still altogether in darknesses; for a man shall not be made strong in his own strength.
