But some Jews came over from Antioch and Iconium, and counselled [or stirred] the people, and [they] stoned Paul, and drew him out of the city, and guessed that he was dead.

And from thence they went by boat to Antioch, from whence they were taken to the grace of God, into the work that they [ful] filled.

But the multitude of the city was parted, and some were with the Jews, and some with the apostles.

But when there was made an assault of the heathen men and the Jews, with their princes, to torment, and to stone them,

men that gave their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But when the Jews in Thessalonica had known, that also at Berea the word of God was preached of Paul, they came thither, moving and disturbing [or distroubling] the multitude.

And when the blood of Stephen, thy witness, was shed out, I stood nigh, and consented, and kept the clothes of men that slew him.

And they brought him out of the city, and stoned [him]. And the witnesses did off their clothes, beside the feet of a young man, that was called Saul.

For I shall show to him, how great things it behooveth him to suffer for my name.

Each day I die for your glory, brethren, which glory I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.

persecutions, passions, which were made to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra, what manner persecutions I suffered, and the Lord hath delivered me of all.
