Ishbibenob, that was of the kin of Harapha, that is, the father of the giants, and the iron of his spear weighed three hundred ounces, and he was girded with a new sword, enforced or endeavoured to smite David.
Then the Philistines heard, that they had anointed David king upon Israel, and all the Philistines went up to seek David. And when David had heard this, he went down into a stronghold.
And it was done after these things, David smote the Philistines, and made low them; and David took away the bridle of tribute from the hand of Philistines.
After these things, a battle was made in Gezer against Philistines, wherein Sibbechai the Hushathite slew Sippai of the kin of Rephaim, that is, of the kind of giants, and he meeked them.
