Therefore Jacob served seven years for Rachel; and the days seemed few to him for the greatness of his love.

Yea, though God slay me, I shall hope in him; nevertheless I shall prove my ways in his sight.

Teach thou me goodness, and lore, either chastising, and knowing; for I believed to thy behests.

Hatred raiseth up chidings; and charity covereth all sins.
