Establish my footsteps in your word. Don’t let any iniquity have dominion over me.

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.

I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.

For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.

Sing to him a new song. Play skilfully with a shout of joy!

Let those who favour my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May the LORD be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!”

A man’s steps are established by the LORD. He delights in his way.

The righteous also will see it, and fear, and laugh at him, saying,

I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.

Afterward the children of Israel shall return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king, and shall come with trembling to the LORD and to his blessings in the last days.

But many of those who heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth.
