They reasoned amongst themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.”
Yeshua said to them, “Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
Yeshua, perceiving it, said, “Why do you reason amongst yourselves, you of little faith, because you have brought no bread?
The immersion of Yochanan, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.
While they talked and questioned together, Yeshua himself came near, and went with them.
An argument arose amongst them about which of them was the greatest.
But Peter said, “Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.”
