As he was praying alone, the disciples were near him, and he asked them, “Who do the multitudes say that I am?”
After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone.
Then Yeshua came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to his disciples, “Sit here, while I go there and pray.”
When he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as Yochanan also taught his disciples.”
Now when all the people were immersed, Yeshua also had been immersed and was praying. The sky was opened,
In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.
They answered, “‘Yochanan the Immerser,’ but others say, ‘Elijah,’ and others, that one of the old prophets has risen again.”
About eight days after these sayings, he took with him Peter, Yochanan, and Jacob, and went up onto the mountain to pray.
As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.
