You visit the earth, and water it. You greatly enrich it. The river of God is full of water. You provide them grain, for so you have ordained it.

The people believed, and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had seen their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

This city will be to me for a name of joy, for praise, and for glory, before all the nations of the earth, which will hear all the good that I do to them, and will fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I provide to it.’”

so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.

The multitudes said, “This is the prophet, Yeshua, from Nazareth of Galilee.”

They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.

But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.

Fear came on all who lived around them, and all these sayings were talked about throughout all the hill country of Judea.

“Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people;

and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”

The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them.

He said to them, “What things?” They said to him, “The things concerning Yeshua the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”

But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Yeshua’s knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”

He who was dead sat up and began to speak. Then he gave him to his mother.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner.”

All the people of the surrounding country of the Gadarenes asked him to depart from them, for they were very much afraid. Then he entered into the boat and returned.

They answered, “‘Yochanan the Immerser,’ but others say, ‘Elijah,’ and others, that one of the old prophets has risen again.”

They asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the prophet?” He answered, “No.”

They asked him, “Why then do you immerse if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the prophet?”

The woman said to him, “Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.

When therefore the people saw the sign which Yeshua did, they said, “This is truly the Prophet who comes into the world.”

Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”

Hananiah, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things.

This is that Moses who said to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord our God will raise up a prophet for you from amongst your brothers, like me.’

The LORD your God will raise up to you a prophet from amongst you, of your brothers, like me. You shall listen to him.
