Now therefore, restore the man’s wife. For he is a prophet, and he will pray for you, and you will live. If you don’t restore her, know for sure that you will die, you, and all who are yours.”

The princes of Pharaoh saw her, and praised her to Pharaoh; and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.

The LORD afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ear. The men were very scared.

“Hear us, my lord. You are a prince of God amongst us. Bury your dead in the best of our tombs. None of us will withhold from you his tomb. Bury your dead.”

David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, “Behold, I have sinned, and I have done perversely; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand be against me, and against my father’s house.”

The king answered the man of God, “Now intercede for the favour of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again.” The man of God interceded with the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored to him again, and became as it was before.

But Naaman was angry, and went away and said, “Behold, I thought, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leper.’

“Don’t touch my anointed ones! Do my prophets no harm!”

He doesn’t respect the persons of princes, nor respect the rich more than the poor, for they all are the work of his hands.

The friendship of the LORD is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

But if they are prophets, and if the LORD’s word is with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of Hosts, that the vessels which are left in the LORD’s house, in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, don’t go to Babylon.

When I tell the wicked, ‘You will surely die;’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that wicked man will die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand.

When I tell the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity, but I will require his blood at your hand.

then it shall be, if he has sinned, and is guilty, he shall restore that which he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found,

The priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD, and he will be forgiven concerning whatever he does to become guilty.”

Simon answered, “Pray for me to the Lord, that none of the things which you have spoken happen to me.”

He who speaks in another language edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the assembly.

God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

Let marriage be held in honour amongst all, and let the bed be undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

The children of Israel said to Samuel, “Don’t stop crying to the LORD our God for us, that he will save us out of the hand of the Philistines.”
