When Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his room towards Jerusalem) and he knelt on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.

Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray towards this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.

whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands towards this house,

I will bless the LORD at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow towards your holy temple in reverence of you.

Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.

Be merciful to me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.

Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before the LORD, our Maker,

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

I prayed to the LORD my God, and made confession, and said, “Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,

I said, ‘I have been banished from your sight; yet I will look again towards your holy temple.’

He said to the man whose hand was withered, “Stand up.”

“If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.

He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

Now on the next day as they were on their journey and got close to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray at about noon.

For these aren’t drunken, as you suppose, seeing it is only the third hour of the day.

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Yeshua, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

Peter and Yochanan were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

But Peter and the emissaries answered, “We must obey God rather than men.

For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,

and that most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I will in no way be disappointed, but with all boldness, as always, now also Messiah will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Through him, then, let’s offer up a sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of lips which proclaim allegiance to his name.

Let’s therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need.

Don’t be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

“I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed amongst you, where Satan dwells.
