Those who strive with the LORD shall be broken to pieces. He will thunder against them in the sky. “The LORD will judge the ends of the earth. He will give strength to his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.”

The LORD thundered from heaven. The Most High uttered his voice.

He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Now therefore tell my servant David this: ‘The LORD of Hosts says, “I took you from the sheep pen, from following the sheep, to be prince over my people, over Israel.

Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him?

I will make the horn of David to bud there. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.

He has lifted up the horn of his people, the praise of all his holy ones, even of the children of Israel, a people near to him. Praise the LORD!

The kings of the earth take a stand, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his Anointed, saying,

“Yet I have set my King on my holy hill of Zion.”

You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

The king rejoices in your strength, LORD! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation!

The LORD is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.

You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

For you are the glory of their strength. In your favour, our horn will be exalted.

But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.

I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

They will say of me, ‘There is righteousness and strength only in the LORD.’” Even to him will men come. All those who raged against him will be disappointed.

“In that day I will cause a horn to sprout for the house of Israel, and I will open your mouth amongst them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”

Then the King will tell those on his right hand, ‘Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world;

Yeshua came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”

how God anointed Yeshua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

“For truly, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together against your holy servant Yeshua, whom you anointed,

For we must all be revealed before the judgement seat of Messiah that each one may receive the things in the body according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

“So let all your enemies perish, LORD, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.

Now therefore see the king whom you have chosen and whom you have asked for. Behold, the LORD has set a king over you.

Isn’t it wheat harvest today? I will call to the LORD, that he may send thunder and rain; and you will know and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the LORD’s sight, in asking for a king.”

So Samuel called to the LORD, and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day. Then all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.

Here I am. Witness against me before the LORD and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a bribe to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

Samuel said to him, “The LORD has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbour of yours who is better than you.

The LORD said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from being king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go. I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite, for I have provided a king for myself amongst his sons.”

As Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines came near to battle against Israel; but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day on the Philistines and confused them; and they were struck down before Israel.
