As he saith in Osee: I will call them my people which were not my people: and her beloved which was not beloved.

For my father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

¶ To all you of Rome beloved of God, and saints by calling. Grace be with you and peace from God our father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.

which in time past were not a people, yet are now the people of God, which were not under mercy: but now have obtained mercy.
