¶ Ye shall not think, that I am come to disannul the law, other the prophets: no I am not come to disannul them, but to fulfil them.
Iesus answered and said to him, let it be so now. For thus it becometh us, to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
¶ Therefore whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, even so do ye to them. This is the law and the prophets.
¶ Sooner shall heaven and earth perish, than one tittle of the law shall perish.
Moses in the law commanded us that such should be stoned: What sayest thou therefore?
saying: This man teacheth to worship God contrary to the law.
Men of Israhell help. This is the man that teacheth all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place. Moreover also he hath brought greeks into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.
and brought forth false witnesses which said: This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law,
For Christ is the end of the law to justify all that believe.
Do we then destroy the law throwe faith? God forbid. We rather maintain the law.
that the righteousness required of the law, might be fulfilled in us, which walk not after the flesh: but after the spirit.
