¶ Then shall the just answer him saying: master, when, saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gave thee drink?

I was naked, and ye clothed me not. I was sick and in prison, and ye visited me not.

He answered and said unto them: He that hath ij. coats, let him part with him that hath none: And he that hath meat, let him do likewise.

I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to receive the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Iesu, how that he said: It is more blessed to give, than to receive.

For ye suffered also with my bonds, and took a worth the spoiling of your goods, and that with gladness, remembering in yourselves how that ye had in heaven a better, and an enduring substance.

Remember them that are in bonds, even as though ye were bound with them. Be mindful of them which are in adversity, as ye which are yet in your bodies.

Pure devotion and undefiled before God the father, is this: To visit the fatherless, and widows in their adversity, and to keep himself unspotted of the world.
