And when the chief priests and pharises heard these similitudes they perceived that he spake of them.
And how much is a man better then a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do a good deed on the sabbath day.
And he spake many things to them in similitudes, saying: Behold, the sower went forth to sow.
And whosoever shall fall on this stone, shall be alto broken. And whosoever this stone shall fall upon, he shall grind him to powder.
And they went about to lay hands on him, but they feared the people, because they counted him as a prophet.
¶ Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him: Master, thus saying, thou puttest us to rebuke also.
And the high priests and the scribes, the same hour went about to lay hands on him, but they feared the people. For they perceived that he had spoken this similitude against them.
