They said, some say that thou art Ihon baptist, some Helyas, some Ieremias, or one of the prophets.
and said unto his servants: this is Ihon baptist, he is risen again from death, and therefore his power is so great.
He said unto them: but whom say ye that I am?
And his disciples asked of him, saying: Why then say the scribes, that Helias must first come?
¶ In those days Ihon the Baptiser, came and preached in the wilderness of jury
Other said, it is Helias: and some said: it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.
They answered: some say that thou art Ihon Baptist: some say Helias, and some one of the prophets.
And of some that Helias had appeared. And of other that one of the old prophets was risen again.
And they asked him: what then? art thou Helias? And he said: I am not. Art thou a prophet? And he answered no.
And much murmuring was there of him among the people. Some said: He is good. Other said nay, but he deceiveth the people.
Then spake they unto the blind again: What sayest thou of him, because he hath opened thine eyes? And he said: He is a prophet.
