¶ And there arose a great storm of wind, and dashed the waves into the ship, so that it was full.
And they late the people depart and took him even as he was in the ship. There were also with him other ships.
And he was in the stern asleep on a pillow. And they awoke him, and said to him: Master, carest thou not that we perish?
but they fell into a place, which had the sea on both the sides, and thrust in the ship. And the fore part stuck fast, and moved not, but the hinderpart brake with the violence of the waves.
Thrice was I beaten with rods. I was once stoned. I suffered thrice shipwreck. Night and day have I been in the deep of the sea.
