¶ And when they had mocked him, they took the robe off him again, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

And they smote him on the head with a reed, and spat upon him, and kneeled down and worshipped him.

And they compelled one that passed by, called Simon of Cyrene (which came out of the field, and was father of Alexander and Rufus) to bear his cross.

Then delivered he him unto them to be crucified. ¶ And they took Iesus, and led him away.
