¶ It chanced as he went on their journey, a certain man said unto him: I will follow thee whithersoever thou go.

¶ And it followed when the time was come that he should be received up and that he determined himself to go to Ierusalem:

The son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another town.

Peter said unto him Lord why cannot I follow thee now? I will give my life for thy sake.
