Art thou very Christ? tell us. And he said unto them: if I shall tell you, ye will not believe.

He said unto him: If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe, though one rose from death again.

And if also I ask you, ye will not answer me. Neither let me go.

¶ The high priest asked Iesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

why askest thou me? Ask them which heard me what I said unto them. Behold they can tell what I said.
