lest after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to perform it, all that behold it, begin to mock him

and saying: Thou that destroyest the temple of God, and buildest it in three days save thyself. If thou be the son of God, come down from the cross.

¶ Which of you is he that is disposed to build a tower, and sitteth not down before and counteth the cost: Whether he have sufficient to perform it?

saying: This man began to build, and was not able to make an end.

Put on the armour of God, that ye may stand steadfast against the crafty assaults of the devil.
