¶ Woe be to you pharises: for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
¶ But whereunto shall I liken this generation? it is like unto children, which sit in the market, and call unto their fellows,
beware of the scribes, which desire to go in long clothing: and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and chief rooms at feasts,
Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.
