¶ Then came the ministers to the high priests, and pharises. And they said unto them: why have ye not brought him?
Peter followed him afar off, unto the high priest's place: and went in, and sat with the servants to see the end.
But some of them went their ways to the pharises, and told them what Iesus had done.
¶ Then gathered the high priests and the pharises a council and said: what do we? This man doeth many miracles.
¶ The pharises heard that the people murmured such things about him: and the pharises and scribes sent ministers forth to take him.
Such words spake his father, and mother, because they feared the jewes, for the jewes had conspired already that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be excommunicate out of the Synagogue.
