Come see a man which told me all things that ever I did. Is not he Christ?
And all the people were amazed, and said: Is not this the son of David?
¶ The woman said unto him: I wot well Messias shall come, which is called Christ. When he is once come, he will tell us all things.
The woman left her water pot behind her, and went her way into the city, and said to the men there:
Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.
¶ Many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him, For the woman's saying, which testified: He told me all things that ever I did.
behold he speaketh boldly, and they say nothing to him. Do not our rulers know indeed, that this is very Christ?
Many of the people believed on him, and said: When Christ cometh: Will he do more miracles than this man hath done?
And the spirit and the bride said come. And let him that heareth, say also come. And let him that is a thirst come. And let whosoever will, take of the water of life free.
