Then went in also that other disciple which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw and believed.
He said unto him: If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they believe, though one rose from death again.
Iesus answered and said unto him: Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, thou believest. Thou shalt see greater things than these.
The other disciples said unto him: we have seen the Lord. And he said unto them: except I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger in the holes of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Iesus said unto him: Thomas, because thou hast seen me, therefore hast thou believed: Happy are they that have not seen, and yet believe.
They ran both together, and that other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
