Then came Iesus forth wearing a crown of thorns and a robe of purple. And Pilate said unto them: Behold the man.
and plaited a crown of thorns and put upon his head, and a reed in his right hand. And bowed their knees before him, saying: hail king of the jews,
¶ The next day, Ihon saw Iesus coming unto him, and said: behold the lamb of god, which taketh away the sin of the world.
And the soldiers wound a crown of thorns and put it on his head. And they did on him a purple garment,
looking unto Iesus, the author and finisher of our faith, which for the joy that was set before him, abode the cross, and despised the shame, and is set down on the right hand of the throne of God.
