One of the servants of the high priest (his cousin whose ear Peter smote off) said unto him: did not I see thee in the garden with him?
And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said unto Peter: surely thou art even one of them, for thy speech betrayeth thee.
And after a little while, another saw him and said: Thou art also of them. And Peter said: Man I am not.
¶ When Iesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden into the which he entered with his disciples.
¶ Simon Peter had a sword, and drew him out, and smote the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.
