O generation of vipers, how can ye say well, when ye yourselves are evil? For of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh.

I find then by the law that when I would do good, evil is present with me.

make you perfect in all works, to do his will, and bring to pass, that whatsoever ye do, may be accepted in his sight, by the means of Iesus Christ. To whom be praise for ever while the world endureth Amen.

¶ If any man among you seem devout, and refrain not his tongue: but deceive his own heart, this man's devotion is in vain.

and let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and sound, that nothing be lacking unto you.

Whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet fail in one point, he is guilty in all.

For whoso listeth to love life, and to see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips, that they speak not guile:

The God of all grace, which called you unto his eternal glory by Christ Iesus, shall his own self after a little affliction make you perfect: shall settle, strengthe, and establishe you.
