Within the second veil was the tabernacle, which is called holiest of all,
¶ And behold the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom, and the earth did quake,
which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast. Which hope also entereth in, into those things which are within the veil,
Into the second went the high priest alone, once every year: but not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the ignorance of the people:
The holy ghost this signifying, that the way of holy things was not yet opened, while as yet the first tabernacle was standing,
