¶ That first tabernacle verily had justifyings, and servings of God, and worldly holiness.

Both were perfect before God, and walked in all the laws and ordinances of the Lord that no man could find fault with them.

Which are the Israelites, to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the testaments, and the ordinance of the law, and the service of God, and the promises,

¶ Beware lest any man come and spoil you thorow philosophy and deceitful vanity, thorow the traditions of men, and ordinances after the world, and not after Christ.

In that he saith a new testament, he hath abrogate the old. Now that which is disannulled and waxed old, is ready to vanish away.

and is a minister of wholy things, and of the very tabernacle, which God pyght, and not man.

For if that first testament had been such a one that no man could have found fault with it: then should no place have been sought for the second.

For Christ is not entered into the holy places, that are made with hands, which are but similitudes of true things: but is entered into very heaven, for to appear now in the sight of God for us.
