The things which I write, behold, God knoweth I lie not.

¶ I Say the truth in Christ and lie not, in that whereof my conscience beareth me witness in the holy ghost,

¶ I call God for a record unto my soul, that for to favor you with all, I came not any more unto Corinthum.

¶ God the father of our Lord Iesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.
