Wherefore I take you to record this same day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
¶ The people that was with him, when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from death, bare record.
¶ And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true. And he knoweth that he saith true that ye might believe also.
When they said contrary and blasphemed, he shook his raiment and said unto them: your blood upon your own heads. For henceforth I go unto the gentiles,
For I bear them record that they have a fervent mind to Godward, but not according to knowledge.
¶ I call God for a record unto my soul, that for to favor you with all, I came not any more unto Corinthum.
Understand us: we have hurt no man: we have corrupted no man: we have defrauded no man.
For to their powers (I bear them record) yee and beyond their power, they were willing of their own accord,
Lay hands suddenly on no man neither be part taker of other men's sins: Keep thyself pure.
