but none of those things move me. Neither is my life dear unto myself, that I might fulfil my course with joy, and the ministration which I have received of the Lord Iesu to testify the gospell of the grace of God.

For I have five brethren: for to warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

¶ I have glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

For he was now numbered with us and obtained fellowship in this ministration.

but that the holy ghost witnesseth in every city saying: that bonds and trouble abide me:

¶ And now dear brethren I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build further, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Then Paul answered, and said: What do ye weeping, and breaking mine heart? I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Ierusalem for the name of the Lord Iesu.

And he said unto me: depart for I will send thee afar hence unto the gentiles.

The Lord said unto him: Go thy ways: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the gentiles, and kings and the children of Israhel:

If it be of grace then is it not by the deserving of works. For then were faveour no more faveour. If it be by the deserving of works, then is there no faveour. For then were deserving no deserving.

To him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of favour: but of duty.

Therefore my dear brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable, always rich in the works of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know how that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Therefore have I delectation in infirmities, in rebukes, in need, in persecutions, in anguish, for Christi's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

¶ Therefore seeing that we have such an office, even as mercy is come on us, we faint not:

So then death worketh in us, and life in you.

Nevertheless we are of good comfort, and had lever to be absent from the body and to be present with God.

I am very bold over you, and rejoice greatly in you. I am filled with comfort, my joy exceeding in all our tribulations.

¶ Paul an Apostle, not of men, neither by man, but by Iesus Christ, and by God the father which raised him from death,

to the praise of his glorious grace, where with he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Wherefore I desire, that ye faint not because of mine tribulations which I suffer for you: which is your praise.

Yee and though I be offered up on your sacrifice and of your serving of God in the faith: I rejoice and rejoice with you all.

because that for the work of Christ he went so far, that he was nye unto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfil that service which was lacking on your part toward me.

¶ Now joy I in my passions which I suffer for you, and fulfil that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the congregation,

but even after that we had suffered before and were shamefully entreated at Philippos (as ye well know) then were we bold in our God to speak unto you the gospell of God, with much striving.

that no man should be moved in these afflictions. For ye yourselves know that we are even appointed thereunto.

for the which cause I also suffer this. Nevertheless I am not ashamed. For I know whom I have believed, and am sure that he is able keep that which I have committed to his keeping against that day.

persecutions, and afflictions which happened unto me at Antioche, at Iconium, and at Lystra: which persecutions I suffered patiently, And from them all the Lord delivered me.

notwith stonding the Lord assisted me, and strengthed me, that by me the preaching should be fulfilled to the utmost and that all the gentiles should hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

which preaching is committed unto me, by the commandment of God our saviour.

For the grace of God, that bringeth health unto all men, hath appeared

For ye suffered also with my bonds, and took a worth the spoiling of your goods, and that with gladness, remembering in yourselves how that ye had in heaven a better, and an enduring substance.

¶ By Silvanus a faithful brother unto you (as I suppose) have I written brevely, exhorting and testifying how that this is the true grace of God, wherein ye stand.

¶ Hereby perceive we love: that he gave his life for us: And we ought also to give our lives for the brethren.

And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.

And long white garments were given unto every one of them. And it was said unto them that they should rest for a little season until the number of their fellows, and brethren, and of them that should be killed as they were, were fulfilled.
