for David himself inspired with the holy ghost said: The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand till I make thine enemies thy foot stool.

¶ And no man ascendeth up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, that is to say, the son of man which is in heaven.

until I make thy foes, thy foot stool.

For he must rule till he have put all his enemies under his feet.

And hath put all things under his feet, and hath made him above all things, the head of the congregation,
