And they kept that saying within them, and demanded one of another, what that rising from death again should mean?

Many of his disciples, when they had heard this, said: this is an hard saying. Who can abide the hearing of it?

¶ While Peter mused in himself what this vision which he had seen meant, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius, had made inquirance for Simon's house, and stood before the door.

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the jews an occasion of falling and unto the greeks foolishness:

For the natural man perceiveth not the things of the spirit of god: For they are but foolishness unto him. Neither can he perceive them because he is spiritually examined:

¶ Whereof we have many things to say which are hard to be uttered: because ye are dull of hearing.

¶ And it seemeth to them a strange thing that ye run not also with them unto the same excess of riot, and therefore speak they evil of you,
