¶ Thither came certain jews from Antioche and Iconium, and obtained the peoples' consent and stoned Paul, and drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.

After they had preached to that city, and taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium and Antioche,

But they wandered thorow the countries, from Perga to Antioche a city of the country of Pisidia, and went into the synagoge on the saboth day, and sat down.

¶ It fortuned in Iconium that they went both together into the Sinagogue of the jewes, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the jewes and also of the greeks believed.

But the unbelieving jews, stirred up and unquieted the minds of the gentiles against the brethren.

The people of city were divided: and part held with the jews, and part with the apostles.

And with these sayings, scarce refrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.

and thence departed by ship to Antioche, from whence they were delivered unto the grace of God, to the work which they had fulfilled.

men that have jeoparded their lives, for the name of our Lord Iesus Christ.

For ye brethren did counterfeit the congregations of God which in jewry are in Christ Iesu: for ye have suffered like things of your kinsmen, as we our selves have suffered of the Jewes,
