¶ Quench not the spirit,
Ye stiffnecked and of uncircumcised hearts and ears: ye have allways resisted the holy ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
If any revelation be made to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.
And grieve not the holy spirit of God, by whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Above all take to you the shield of faith, wherewith ye may quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
despise not prophesying.
Despise not the gift that is the thee, which was given thee thorow prophecy, and with laying on of the hands of a senior.
¶ Wherefore I warn thee that thou stir up the gift of God which is in thee, by the putting on of my hands.
