Cast all your care to him: for he careth for you.
¶ Which of you (though he took thought therefore) could put one cubit unto his stature?
And why care ye then for raiment? Behold the lilies of the field, how they grow. They labor not, neither spin.
¶ Therefore take no thought saying: what shall we eat, or what shall we drink, or wherewith shall we be clothed?
And he was in the stern asleep on a pillow. And they awoke him, and said to him: Master, carest thou not that we perish?
¶ And he spake unto his disciples: Therefore I say unto you: Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat: Neither for your body, what ye shall put on.
If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least: why take ye thought for the remnant?
The hired servant flyeth because he is an hired servant, and careth not for the sheep.
Be not carefull: but in all things shew your petition unto God in prayer and supplication with giving of thanks.
