¶ The multitude of them that believed, were of one heart, And of one soul. Also none of them said, that any thing of those which he possessed was his own: But had all things common.
¶ God which is Lord of patience and consolation, give unto every one of you, that ye be like likeminded one towards another after the ensample of Iesu Christ,
¶ I beseech you brethren in the name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speak one thing, and that there be no dissension among you: but be ye perfect in one mind, and one meaning:
but the wisdom that is from above, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging, and without simulation:
Behold we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Iob, and have known what end the Lord made. For the Lord is very pitiful, and merciful.
¶ And for as much as ye have purified your souls thorow the spirit, in obeying the truth for to love brotherly without feigning, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
¶ Likewise ye younger submit your selves unto the elder. Submit yourselves every man, one to another. Knit yourselves together in lowliness of mind. For God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble.
