Do ye not understand that he which coupleth himself with an harlot, is become one body? For two (saith he) shall be one flesh:

and, ij. shall be made one flesh. So then are they now not twain, but one flesh,

Know ye not how that we shall judge the angels? How much more may we judge things that pertain to the life?

For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall continue with his wife, and two shall be made one flesh.

¶ By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, after she had received the spies to lodging peaceably.
